Hello August AI Art lovers!
As we get cooking into the conclusion of summer, we thought we would share some of our August AI Art in case you were keen to add some to your collection, or if you were interested in making in yourself.

There are loads of AI programs out there, but as any digital artist will tell you, ‘it’s better if you know what you’re doing’.

Our own Wade McElwain has created some August digital art based on some suggestions from friends and the community.

If you are interested in purchasing any of these as large prints, or would like any custom work, please get in touch!

Wade has offered some critique and explanation of the artwork shared, so enjoy the creations.

Giant Bongs

I didn’t create these giant bongs, but rather saw them on a Midjourney group and was blown away by the results. Pun intended. The photo-realism of these is quick unique, but with Midjourney comes a lot of experimentation and lots of money spent on credits.
Don’t be fooled, AI art is an expensive hobby, and these results show it.

Cannae Girls

In homage to the pin-ups of the past, I was tasked with creating ‘a hot, young, blonde woman in a bikini with cannabis’, which are pretty easy prompts, but it’s what you do with them.

I went with a throwback to the Hed Kandi house albums of the past, and tried to add some flecks of light, as you can see on the right.

These are a bit more patterned, as the task was more art, and less realism.
The one on the left has a nice balance of colour, while the one on the right is afflicted by the wonky eye and digits often found in AI art.

More patterned and comic book, these are great for prints and wallpaper.
The perfectionist in me would clean all of this up in Photoshop, as well as fix some of the lighting, but you guys get to see it raw baby!

These aren’t the style I would have personally designed, but again, it was a test for someone else.
The model on the right has an odd Joanna Lumley-look about her, while I find that the pattern swallows the model on the right.
I’m really not selling these here, am I?

Cannae Pammy

I went with a more Pamela Anderson print look in these ones for a Canadian company.
AI is better with more iconic people that have a great number of images to select from.
Sadly it’s easier to make images with Jake Paul than it is Paul Newman.

A bit more buxom, and a bit more on brand.
To get the best results with anything, you have to spend time, money, and patience.
That goes for Pamela as well.

Cannae Mutts

Stickers of dogs with cannabis, am I right? While these are ok, as an AI artist it helps to be specific about the desired dog, look etc.
The client was looking for a cute dog and cannabis sticker for a product that they were looking to design.

Making the dog look a little more cool, and like ‘Poochy’ gave the desired results, and the client got what they wanted.
Which one do you think they went with?

Cannae Cats

Cats are always a cool option as well, since their eyes and weed go really well together.
You ever seen a cat on catnip? That’s considered hilarious, but if I roll around on the floor trying to rub my butt on the doorknob it’s ‘inappropriate’.

That’s it for some of AI art for August, I will keep making creations of cannabis, and sharing them on here.

If you do wish to have some AI cannabis art made for you, let me know!
