The boys are back with another smashing podcast, in this episode the guys look Geo-Weed.

So what is Geo-Weed exactly? Well it’s the growing global concept of cannabis being legalised, and the ramifications that go with it.

The world is rapidly changing, as are the laws that govern the status of how cannabis is viewed by a government. But what if that status changes?
What happens when a country or region simply changes its mind about legal cannabis?
What are the ramifications on the smaller players?

Among some of the topics the guys look at in this episode, includes:

Thailand

Our panel of Wade, Craig and Shawn are all big fans of the country of Thailand, one of the most beautiful and majestic countries on the planet, with a storied history of cannabis.

Despite recent moves to make cannabis a legal and recreational drug with limited potential, the new PM of Thailand says he does not support the plant going forward.

What does that mean to the tens of thousands of Thai people who have invested in it based on past promises?

Tranq and Fent

‘Tranq’ and ‘Fent’ either sounds like an obnoxious drill rap duo, or the names for two pitbulls, the reality is far worse.

North America is struggling still with the fallout from its opiod crisis, with the gap between rich and poor widening a gap of wealth that has some people just giving up.

This is evident on the streets of San Fran, Philly, Miami, where homeless drug addicts are either using the horrible ‘Tranq’, which turns them into floating zombies, or fentanyl, which is slowly creeping into every powder on the street.

Sadly, the cannabis industry is often blighted with causing these problems, when it’s actually the fault of failing governments, ineffective policies, and mismanagement.

The rest of the world should look at the rise of this deadly duo, and consider that a well thought out legal cannabis policy might slow this down.

Columbian Coke

Hooray for the cokeheads, Columbian exports of the white stuff have topped oil for the first time in the history of this South American nation.

It well and surely looks like the war on drugs is over, and drugs has won soundly.

Columbia and its neighbours are struggling to deal with the penchant for the white growing quickly around the globe, as prices for coke continue to fall.

Shady European dealers have also started to learn that just adding a touch of the fentanyl might help in short order, but that it will eventually start killing customers.

Of course people would rather fix about masks and getting a vaccine than looking at the obvious.

Outdoor Tokes

A group in British Columbia, Canada is looking to start the first official outdoor smoking area for cannabis.

Given the size of Canada, and how many people gather together to blaze j’s, it seems a bit silly that it would take this long for an official smoking area, since many Tim Horton’s parking lots are already claiming this status.
