In this first episode you get to meet the CannaeBiz team of Craig, Shawn and Wade. All of the guys are successful Canadian businessmen across a variety of industries, but they all share one thing. A curiosity about the potential for the business of cannabis.
What are the opportunities? Where is the money? How are cannabis fans getting their full? Who are the players? And most importantly across it all, what are all the problems?
After all, solving them is where we all get to the real growth.
What the Cannae?
The word ‘cannae’ is a Scottish word for ‘cannot’. As in ‘I cannae see why cannabis isn’t legal in Scotland?’
This and some of the many questions we hope to answer on future podcasts.
The idea of ‘cannae’ is a sticky one across the industry. In an industry of legalizing a plant that has for almost a century faced global condemnation can be a daunting task.
Many governments around the world may have given the green light to ‘you can’, but too many stories of frustration and red tape signal a continuous flow of ‘cannot’. Why the hold ups?
